You may think powder snow and off-piste if only for experts but if you have always wanted to try skiing in powder snow or off piste, our team of Mountain Guides who are also Ski-Snowboard Instructors can teach you the techniques whilst taking care of your safety to ensure you enjoy the Chamonix mountains in winter as never before.

Ski on glaciers, discover another way of skiing in a different setting, get away from the piste in upmost security and if you need, your guide will offer professional coaching and advice to improve your skills.

Grands Montets is situated between 1235 m and 3300 m,and provides everything you need: Off Piste, Magical Glacier runs and off course spectacular downhill descents. Take a look at Grands Montets Off Piste areas in this great video.
If you book several days we can try to ride a number of different off piste areas of the Mont-Blanc range like: "Le pas de chèvre", "L'envers du plan", "Le glacier de toule" etc...
"Fat skis" can be rented, to make the deep snow easier and help you enjoy your time off piste: this is the secret !
Technical level: intermediate to expert riders with good skills and physical condition.
Equipment: we recommend the new free-ride fatskis, which allow you to ski easily with less fatigue, even in difficult irregular snow conditions. It is possible to rent them and it's recommended to book them ahead of time.

We provide security harness and avalanche transceivers and any additional necessary security equipment.

Details of our Ski-Snowboard Off-Piste & Guiding Packages
For a Whole Day: We will collect you from your accommodation, transport you to the ski area to enjoy a full day at a ski area in the Chamonix valley and then bring you back home. Depending on the weather and snow conditions you can enjoy a whole day back country skiing/snowboarding in Chamonix or Courmayeur in Italy with 70€ extra for private transportation throught Mont-Blanc tunnel.
For a Morning: We will collect you from your accommodation and take you to the ski area to enjoy a morning skiing but will not be able to transport you afterwards as we will have another lesson in the afternoon. Please note there is a free bus service that you can catch from the ski area that will transport you back to Chamonix
For an Afternoon: We will arrange a meeting point at one of the ski areas and will transport you home at the end of the lesson.

The daily rate may be divided by the number of skiers in your group.
1/-- Whole day Off-Piste with UIAGM Mountain Ski Guide:
€470 from 1 up to 4 persons, (one same price)+ €30 per extra person until a maximum of 6 people per a Guide.
2/-- Whole day Off-Piste with UIAGM Mountain Guide which is also Ski Instructor for off-piste coaching !
€520 from 1 up to 4 persons, (one same price)+ €40 per extra person until a maximum of 6 people per a Guide.

Price: €320 from 1 up to 4 persons,(one same price)+ €20 per extra person until a maximum of 6 persons for one guide
4/-- Half day with your with UIAGM Mountain Guide which is also Ski-Snowboard Instructor for off-piste coaching!

Due to a high demand for the whole day program, we can not offer these half-day sessions, during the week-end or during all the peak periods !
Please note : All half-days program will be located only in Chamonix valley

-- we can offer private transportation for a maximium of 4 persons, if more pople you will have to use the efficient Chamonix Bus system in all Chamonix valley
