MOUNTAINEERING 
Mountaineering is an umbrella term that can variously be used to describe the actions of climbing, hillwalking and scrambling. In it’s usual sense, however, it concerns the ascent of mountains of various stature, using various types and amounts of mountaineering equipment. In this latter sense it is also known as Alpinism.
From hikers and beginners to experienced alpinists, our guides always attentive to your security, will accompany you on simple routes through to the most difficult, including the famous:

Mont Blanc, highest peak of Europe, is without a doubt the most beautiful mountain in the world and every year many mountaineers try to ascend this famous French peak.
Under-estimated by many people, the ascent is a relatively simple snow route, but requires a high level of physical fitness for this very long high altitude ascent! The summit day, the ascent and descent requires 10 to 12 hours of continuous effort!
Please note you must be experienced about using crampons and ice axe for snow and ice climbing, if not we will advice you to have some trainning with us before !

1/ Glacier trekking day:
Full training in use of crampons and ice axe is provided at the start of the course. Strap on your crampons for a scenic stomp across the frosty wasteland known as "Mer de Glace", France’s largest glacier, before attempting to climb some wall of ice! Wearing crampons and roped up for glacier travel, you can trek through some of the most breathtaking glaciers in Europe, and so many beautiful mountains around Mont-Blanc massif !
Location: Mer de Glace or from Top of Aiguille du Midi or next to Chamonix in Italy from top of SkyWay 

Price: Mountain Guide fees 470€ for a whole day program 1 to 2  persons + 40 € per extra person (lift ticket not include)
If you need: you will have to rent the altitude kit: high-mountain boots, ice axe and crampons

2/ Mont-Blanc trainning & ascent. 5 Days Courses
3 days training, and Mont Blanc ascent...
Every week from mid-June until September. According to your own schedule if you are already 2 persons.
Full training in use of crampons and ice axe is provided at the start of the course. Some rock climbing experience is useful for those non experienced climbers. During the course you will be taught necessary ropework and skills: how to improve your balance and the ability to move quickly and efficiently over broken mountain terrain.
This course is focused on you summitting Mont Blanc! It may be possible to ascend other summits and spend an additional night in the mountain hut at altitude to increase acclimatisation prior to the ascent of Mont Blanc.It is an unforgettable experience to reach the summit and you will test the skills you have learnt along the way.
Price : 1950€/pers. (this price is for a minimum of 2 pers.) if more persons, you will have one Guide for each group of  1/2 extra-climbers for Mont-Blanc ascent
This price includes: Mountain guiding service, lift tickets (cable-car & cog-train) & accommodation at Tête Rousse & Gouter mountain huts only during the Mont-Blanc ascent (Evening meal, bed and breakfast) 
This price does not include:
Accommodation in Chamonix or any additional lift tickets and other nights in the mountain hut during your training and on the descent from Mont-Blanc (if this is needed).
All mountaineering equipments: we are able to offer 20% discount through our partner shop in Chamonix on any rental equipment you require. 5 days= 150€
3/ 'Summits & Skills' Experience at 4000m:
5 days courses: Every week from mid-June until mid October.According to your own schedule if you are already 2 persons.
Even if you have had no previous contact with ropes, or any experience of ice or rock climbing, by the end of the week you will have climbed vertical pitches of ice, led a rock route and climbed an Alpine 4000m mountain.5 days course for people who want to start to learn all the different mountainering techniques .
-This course is suitable for keen hill walkers, indoor wall climbers, or ramblers, to introduce you to the key technical aspects necessary for mountaineering.
-Alpine Introduction courses focus on the skills that you will require for ascents on Alpine rock, ice and snow, including ropework, glacier travel, crampon & ice axe use, avalanche prediction, and equipment selection.
-A key feature of the Intro course is that you attempt a 4000m peak, such as Gran Paradiso, at the end of the week. This involves a day ascending to a mountain hut for the night, and an Alpine start the next morning to ascend the peak. A great experience, and this will confirm how much you have already learned during the week.
Price : 1550€/pers. (this price is for a minimum of 2 persons)
Including:
1) Organisation - Mountain Guide fees, 1 night in a mountain hut. (diner, night & breakfast)
2) Road transport in Chamonix valley including tunnel toll and road transport to/from Gran Paradiso,
Not included: lodging in Chamonix, any other lift tikets, drinks and personnel expenses, during your 5 days. Rental mountain equipment.

4/ Mountaineering Beginners Courses: 5 days
Every week from mid-June until mid October.According to your own schedule if you are already 2 persons.
You would like to go into the high mountains, but you do not feel enought confident and you don’t possess the necessary skills.Maybe you feel intimidated by all the different techniques one needs to master.
- In a week-long course with a Mountain Guide UIAGM, you can learn all these skills safely. Ice and snow lessons, then climbs according to conditions at the time, your standard and your aspirations.
- Our teaching methods are simple and clear so all course members finish the week with base of mountaineering techniques which are required if you wish to become self-sufficient in the mountains.
Program: When the basic skills have been learnt, after two days of instruction on rock and ice climbing, you will be ready to tackle your first real climbs in the mountains. Taking into account your tastes, your climbing possibilities, the weather forecast and your guide's advice.
Ex : Petite Verte, Tour Ronde, Aiguille du Tour, Arête des Cosmiques, Mont Blanc du Tacul...
Dates : 5 days, Monday to Friday or according to your own schedule, if you are alredy a group of people
Price : 1400€/pers. (this price is for a minimum of 2 persons)
Including: Guide fees for organisation and coaching
Not included: Lift tickets,  lodging in Chamonix, drinks and personnal expenses. (if needed according to the program, any night in Mountain hut with diner & breakfast fro you and your guide). Rental mountain equipment. 5/ Mountaineering 3 Days Courses:
The short version of the moutaineering beginner course.
Dates : Every week and week-end from mid-June until mid October.
Price : 1050€/pers. (this price is for a minimum of 2 persons)

Not included: Lift tickets,  lodging in Chamonix, drinks and personnal expenses. (if needed according to the program, any night in Mountain hut, with diner & breakfast fro you and your guide). Rental mountain equipment.
