7 days Summer Trekking: Chamonix-Zermatt Haute Route
Program
Day 1: Meeting place in Chamonix or Montroc-Le Tour at 1.30 p.m.
To take Charamillon cable-car, and Balme chair-lift (7,152 feet), to reach Albert 1er Mounain hutt (8,865 feet)
Duration of walking: 2h30 - Length : 4 miles - Difference of level : 1,713 feet.

Day 2: From Albert 1er to Tour pass (10,768 feet), then down to Orny pass (10,164 feet), then down to Breya chair-lift, to reach Champex village and transfer to Hotel La Vallée in Lourtier ( Val de bagnes)
Duration of walking: 6 hours - Length : 10 miles - Difference of level : 1,902 feet up, 3,596 feet down.

Day 3: Transfer to Mauvoisin lake and to Chanrion hut (8,077 feet)by 4X4 taxi
Then Tsofeiret pass (8619.84feet), Lire Rose pass ( 10217 feet), Mont-Rouge pass(10909 feet), Cheillon pass(10617 feet), to reach Les Dix Mountain hutt.
Duration of walking: 5.30mn - Length: 6,84 miles. - Difference of level : 2,833. feet up, 1,305 feet down.

Day 4: Start from Les Dix Hutt to the alpine summit of Pignes d'Arolla (12431 feet) !! by Tsena Refien glacier, then Serpentine pass (11857 feet) to the top, then down to Les Vignettes hutt (10364 feet)
Duration of walking: 6.30mn - Length: 5,59miles - Difference of level : 3378 feet up, 2,460 feet down.
Day 5: Start from Les Vignettes hutt to Bertol Hut trought Evêques pass (11,128 feet), down trought Arolla glacier then Plan bertol(8737 feet), then to Bertol mountain Hutt (10,863 feet)
Duration of walking: 6 to 7 hours - Length:10 miles - Difference of level : 3,770 feet up, 3,268 feet down.
Day 6: Bertol mountain hutt to Schönbiel mounyain hutt by Tête Blanche (12,218 feet), Schönbiel hut (8,838 feet)
Duration of walking: 6 to 7 hours - Length: 9 miles - Difference of level : 1,991 feet up, 4,016 feet down.
Day 7: Schönbiel mountain hut (8,838 feet) to Zermatt (5,302 feet), thenback to Chamonix in the afernoon with private Taxi-van transfer
Duration of walking: 3 to 4 hours - Length : 6 miles - Difference of level : 3,570 feet down.
